Bio fuels are a renewable resource. Using fossil fuels is stupid because: 1. We are dependent upon terrorist countries like Iran 2. It's gonna run out one day, why not be ahead of the game and be prepared NOW 3. Fossil fuels when used produce harmful byproducts that hurt the environment. Choose wisely people... Bio fuels all the way.

I am against biofuel. I believe it's better to used the food to feed people than to convert it to fuel cars.

To replace gasoline in the USA alone, we would have to grow corn on every square inch of the earth. If our world is to survive, we have two choices:

1) Nuclear power
2) Wind power

Storage becomes the expensive issue. However, with Ammonia the separation of Hydrogen from Oxygen becomes less energy expensive. This allows us to convert the electricity from either of the above sources into a liquid, renewable, transportable resource. Don't fucking argue. I'm a Ph.D chemist and I'm right.

Simply put, there's not enough room! The developed world is so dependent on the car that it'd take an obscenely large land mass to grow it all. Also, the fuel is cleaner, not clean. Compare it to Hydrogen fuel cells and it's filthy.

In the future we'll be driving Hydrogen cars and power our cities with Hydrogen. At the moment it's truly our only viable and feasible option.

Nuclear power or a change in societal mindset are the only solutions. This it a simple fact. Hydro carbon energy sinks will run out, although not likely as soon as we are being let to believe. 'Bio' fuels (really something of a misnomer) are an ecologic disaster as well as ultimately insufficient in regards to energy demand. And i am not just talking Gasoline/ethanol, I mean home/business heating lighting etc.
I advocate nuclear power, its safer then you realize.
